The man, the myth, the geology legend, Dr Scott Burns is coming to Résolu Cellars!

Scott is an incredible orator, historian, and champion of the Oregon wine industry. As an expert in the  Missoula Floods, he can help us understand why we should all think GEOLOGY ROCKS! (And yes, there will be dad jokes!) He will lead us through a one-hour lecture (with room for Q&A) on the floods and their impact on the wine industry and your everyday life.

Scott’s academic prowess is world-class, yet his teaching style is even more impressive. Whether you’re already a geology fanatic, a winemaker or gardener impacted by the soil you work with, or just someone with an appetite for learning, you’ll find Scott’s approach to be refreshing, inviting, and so interesting!

Tickets are only $20/ person and include the presentation & a glass or select flight of Résolu Cellars wine! AND $5 from each ticket will be donated to AHIVOY, one of the industry non-profits.

AHIVOY is a nonprofit organization creating opportunities and empowering Latinx and Hispanic vineyard workers of the Willamette Valley to overcome socioeconomic challenges.
